Visiting and would love some suggestions

My husband and I are visiting Houston beginning of April for his birthday. We are staying in Pearland but are going to drive all over. He loves animals, the outdoors, flashlights 😂🤷🏼‍♀️, and trying new things. Would love any recs on food or things to do in or around Houston. Thank you in advance
