Man fell asleep behind wheel on Newcastle?

On my way home, I got stuck behind a man who had seemingly fallen asleep behind the wheel, if not worse. Several people had already pulled over and called the cops, so I didn't stop and got out of the way. Does anyone know if he is okay? Would the news report on this?
