Is bars for hooking up still a thing? Advice for short asian guy lol.

I'm 29, but I'm also basically a short, asian guy with very little "presence". Don't get me wrong, I work out and can dress well, but I feel very out of place sometimes. Hell part of the reason I can survive at all is cause I WFH. I've had zero success using online dating.

My favorite "bar" is the upstairs bar near Rice but it's kind quiet and low key (like me). Should I even attempt bars at all? Clubs are even worse because I'm short af and that makes it super obvious.
