Meat or No Meat, Dog Hause Biergarten Packs in the Flavor!

A Little Story About Dog Haus Biergarten

We drove out to Dog Hause Biergarten on Eldrige to film a Kitchen Tour and an Eats Feature. Their menu is spectacular, the restaurant is clean, the kichen is spacious, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable – and the best part about it is that every Dog Haus you visit will live up to these expectations.  Dog Haus was launched in Pasadena, California in 2010 and since then has made its way to the Houston area. They are known for their signature all beef Haus Dogs and handcrafted Haus Sausages. All of their beef is 100% genetically tested, humanely raised, hormone- and antibiotic-free Black Angus beef from Creekstone Farms. There are also options for people who stay away from meat – so everyone will be happy when sitting down for lunch or dinner at Dog Haus Biergarten.

The Kitchen Tour Went Down Like This:

Check out how the kitchen is situated. You will notice there is a separation between the meat and the non-meat areas – so if you are serious about your no-meat policy, you can be assured that this kitchen staff has it handled. It’s great to see all of the teamwork with the staff – it’s obvious everyone loves working at Dog Haus Biergarten.

The Houston’s Great Eats Feature happened like this:

We tried several things on the menu which included:

1. Cha-Chi – take a tortilla and fill it up with tater tots, a fried egg, chorizo, cheese and all kinds of great sauces and you will have a one-of a kind flavor explosion known on the menu as the Cha-Chi.

2. Tex-Mex Dog – what could be more delicious than a all beef Haus Dog? How about wrapping that Haus Dog in bacon and serving it on a Hawaiian Bun topped with all the delicious add-ons? That’s the Tex-Mex Dog in all it’s glory!

3. Next up was the Impossible Non-Burger – think tastes like chicken but isn’t chicken with guacamole and a host of other great add-ons in between that sweet Hawaiian Bread aka Bun.

4. Then there’s the Halal Beef Burger with caramelized onions and an oozing egg…it’s just simply perfection in between a Hawaiian Bun.

I can’t tell you which ones were my favorite because I loved them all! The restaurant also has a full bar with a wide selection of beers to accompany all that great food.

I highly recommend Dog Haus Biergarten on Eldridge.
