Errr we still have our Christmas tree. Recycling options?

My husband and I left town for a few months. We came home to a pretty unhappy tree. Any way we could make it up to this poor guy and bring him somewhere to be recycled? According to Houston waste website, Christmas tree recycling programs ended at the end of January.
