Astros’ Lance McCullers blasts baseball owners as lockout continues
|
Lance McCullers has deactivated his Twitter account, but here's what he tweeted about baseball owners and the lockout as negotiations stalled today. "It’s mind blowing these dudes legitimately caused these issue & continue to lie about it," McCullers posted on Twitter in a quote-tweet of the Houston Chronicle's Chandler Rome's statement from ownership. "Walk out on us in Dallas. Lock us out. Don’t speak to us for 6 weeks. Take weeks at a time to respond to our proposals. Clearly don’t care about fans, baseball or the game. It’s exhausting." McCullers is referencing the 10-minute meeting owners had with the players association on Dec. 1 in Dallas, a day before they decided to lock out the players until a new collective bargaining agreement could be reached. After the lockout was imposed, there was a six-week delay before the two sides met again. submitted by /u/Dani_Mayonnaise |
