Eye doctor familiar with medically necessary contact lenses?

My current eye doctor is great but her staff are not. I order contact lenses every year using my medically necessary benefits. Every year it takes two months or more for them to submit the preliminary paperwork. I get the run around every time I ask for a status update. The first year I went without contact lenses for two months. The same person handles the insurance stuff and every year the excuse is: “They’re making me submit a different form.” I’ve literally tried everything and I’m done, no matter how good the doctor is. I’ve seen another doctor in a different city and it took mere days to process the paperwork and order my lenses. Does anyone know of a good eye doctor that does contact lens fittings and has experience filing claims for medically necessary supplies? Please, I can’t do this for another year and the other medical issues I need to attend to require way more attention than this should.
