Details emerge about renovations to historic La Colombe d’Or Hotel in Montrose

The developers behind the renovation of La Colombe d’Or Hotel in Montrose have unveiled new details about the project, including what room options will be available to guests during their stay.

The hotel was built in 1936 as the Fondren Mansion and is undergoing a $10 million, to-the-studs renovation to update the nearly 100-year-old building located at 3410 Montrose Blvd. That aspect of the project is scheduled to be completed by the second quarter of 2020.
