What suburb to buy in?

My wife and I are moving to Houston in August and I was curious as to what suburb y’all would buy in. Not that it narrows it down much, but I need to be within 35 miles of downtown. We are moving from North of Dallas so I’d like to look out my windows and not see my neighbors house (or at least not be able to touch it) if possible. Thanks for the input!
