Honest question seeking honest answers:

Why does the public not hold schools accountable in Houston/Texas?

I came from another red state (Georgia) and any time something happened in a school – a teacher was inappropriate with a student, an admin fired someone for the wrong reasons, a kid brought a weapon to school – it was all over the news and the schools made changes.

That doesn't seem to happen here. I'm a former teacher in Alief and I know while I was there, stuff went down – everything I mentioned above – but no accountability. I know it happens in other schools & ISDs.

Where's the accountability?
