Why are we the media’s favorite punching bag?

Is it just the Bob McNair comments from years ago?

This is two years in a row the NFL is heavily criticized (and this year sued) for not hiring black head coaches.

Yet it’s also two years in a row the Texans are the only team to hire a black head coach (Unless you count McDaniel). We also have a black OC.

Second year in a row the Texans are roundly criticized for the person they hired.

Also second year in a row the Jaguars hire has been widely thought of as a good hire… let’s wait and see
