Rice University cancels in-person classes amid coronavirus fears

Rice University is closing from March 9 to 13 out of an abundance of caution and in order to allow faculty and staff time to prepare for possible remote instruction for the rest of the semester amid growing concern about the coronavirus outbreak, the university announced March 8.
