Major foundations give $20M to launch nonprofit newsroom in Houston

Three major Houston nonprofits — Houston Endowment, the Kinder Foundation and Arnold Ventures — are teaming up with the American Journalism Project and another journalism-focused foundation to form an independent nonprofit newsroom in Houston.
