Houston Hospital Covid #’s

In the Houston TSA (Trauma Service Area) here are the numbers from yesterday.

• Covid + daily admits to hospitals was down to 350 from 420. That needs to stay down as it determines space.
• Covid+ in ICU was down slightly to 416 from 428.
• Covid + in hospital (total) was 2681 which is keeping us flat.

The good news is that the sustained admissions at this level in the past would have pushed us over 1000 in the ICU. Let's hope it goes down for the sake of the nurses.
