BBQ recommendations for someone who’s never experienced Texas BBQ

Going to be in Houston next week Tuesday – Saturday, and as a Midwesterner I’ve never experienced a good Texas bbq. You know the pictures of the big plates with 4 sides & s**t.

Looking for something in the NW side of the outer loop, but can drive anywhere. Pref not downtown or sketchy area
