Litter Pickup-Houston Public Works

My family and I moved to Houston five years ago and we love what this city has to offer, but the one thing we notice is how much litter there is throughout the area.

On New Year’s Day, I put in a service request at houston311.org for litter to be picked up at the corner of Ella Boulevard and 610. When I got to the intersection this morning, there was already a crew cleaning up the area. Thanks to Houston Public Works for their prompt response!

If you see a significant amount of litter in your area, I encourage you to put in a service request at houston311.org. We deserve a cleaner Houston.

I plan on finding opportunities to assist with cleaning up other areas of Houston myself, and I hope you’ll consider doing the same. In the meantime, I’ll continue to pick up what I can in my neck of the woods on my evening walks. Have a great day!
