Quarantine Procedure at work

For those not working from home, I’m curious as to what your organization is implementing with quarantining with the Omicron variant. I’m assuming that some businesses are still facing labor shortages and others are possibly letting go their seasonal staff.

My previous place of employment would require the 10 full days after positive and would pay for those days too – that had changed prior to the November holiday break to 10 required quarantine days but would now implement a cap on Covid PTO – could use your own PTO to cover the days or possibly take an unpaid absence – this was a private manufacturing organization.

I’m honestly just trying to get a finger on the pulse of how businesses across Houston are juggling taking care of the staff they do have and keeping operations efficient and sustainable.
