Houston Zoo Veterans Discount

Hi all! I am confused by the Veteran’s discount at the Houston zoo. My wife is a veteran, but I am not. Can I buy 2 adult veteran discount tickets for both of us (i.e., can she get me the discount too?) or is only her ticket eligible for the Veterans discount? Thank you for any info!
