Anyone with experience riding electric scooters in Houston?

I read online that you can’t ride on sidewalks in the city and that you have to ride in the road as long as it’s 35 or less. I also hate Houston drivers. Is there anywhere specific I would be allowed to ride, or would it just not even be worth it to bring it to the city?
