To all those who want Culley gone

It only makes sense to boot him when we get our QB.

Culley is a Tank Commander. Matt Rhule was the first choice and we made an offer. The Watson issue made all coaching options run away. Once we get the assets in place to get our QB, then Coaching options will come running.

Culley was the temporary tank commander. He needs to be here, tanking, until we get our QB.

I firmly believe that we pass on QB this year (unless a great option falls to our second pick) People will Hate that. The Texans need to build a core team, so that our future QB can step into a functional team and thrive. That means an offensive line that can protect. A pass catching RB or solid TE to dump the ball to. And a play making defense. We need another Edge, and lockdown CB, a great FS (Reid may leave too) a IOL Mauler, a young RB and a TE stud to make that happen. We aren’t getting all of that now. I think we use these picks and build out a young solid team. Then in 2023 package picks to trade up for a QB. Part of that…..is continuing to tank. Thus keeping Culley one more year.

Caserio has looked solid so far as a GM. This offseason though will be the proof. He held off to get what he wants for Watson. If he gets a haul, then HC options are going to have all eyes on Texans.

TL;DR : I agree that Culley sucks….but that’s kind of the point.
