What is happening in Houston right now?

I'm on my way to college Station right now on 290 and I have seen probably 20 cops rushing into town with lights and sirens. A mix of state troopers and local cops. Anyone know of anything going on? I thought they were giving an resort at first because like 10 of them were close together. Then more and more kept showing up.
