Visiting for 2 weeks what should I make sure to do.

As the title says I'll be in town for a couple of weeks from the UK. I'm going to go to the NASA attraction but outside of that what would you recommend I do? Where should I eat? What are the must sees? Any hidden gems? Where should I avoid? Let me know Houstonians, I'm looking forward to visiting!
