Houston ranks on top cities for women in tech list

Houston ranked No. 6 on SmartAsset’s top cities for women in tech list, moving down from its No. 4 spot in 2019.

The drop is primarily due to a decrease in the percentage of tech jobs filled by women, which was 26 percent in 2017. It fell to 25.8 percent in 2018, which is also lower than the national average of 26.1 percent.
