Seaside Lounge Noise?

Recently moved to Houston and had to get a downtown apartment because I didn’t want a long commute to downtown in Houston traffic. However, after i moved in i realized that my apartment is very close to the Seaside Lounge and they have very loud music on until 2 AM!!!! How are they allowed to do that in a residential area? I haven’t been here a full month and saw two dudes get in a fight and one of them pulled a gun and started shooting….i called the police twice the same day because of the noise and no one showed up. What are your thoughts? Do you also have to deal with that s**t?
