Evacuation from Louisiana prep.
Today the "biggest storm since 1850" will land in Louisiana. I have been in Houston long enough to know we are besties with much of Louisiana and trade business etc back and forth.
This means we should expect a surge of people who call Houston their second home as well as many of our Houston residents coming back from business. My main concern is that we are already hitting capacity for hospitals in the area and several emergency rooms have closed from delta.
This is going to be rough on people who do not have the options to social distance living in a car with family and etc. Everyone should help how they can but we need to do it as safely as possible. I do not care what side of the fence you are on with vaccine but we can all agree the disease itself is real.
Wear masks, wash everything and stay out of the public if you don't need to be out. We are about to cross pollute with Louisiana and I would rather we not have to shut down hospitals before the rescues can even begin.
