Domesticated (?) pigeon hanging out under our cars for 2 days now, help …?
So this pigeon was under my wife's car Monday morning. Not a big deal … except it stayed there all day until she went to get the kids from school, and then it just trotted over underneath my car instead.
It seems like it might be domesticated, it's definitely not scared of people at all, and it has a very "well-bred" appearance. No apparent sign of injury or stress or obvious reason why it doesn't fly away (but then .. how did it get here?)
Anyway, now it's Tuesday night, it's still just basically hanging out underneath our cars. Gave it some water and fruit and breadcrumbs …
We're invested in helping the bird, but we have no idea what to do next. Is there someone we could call? Should we just let nature take its course?
Thoughts, advice, jokes, memes welcome.
