Daytime reccs for someone visiting, on crutches?
Hi y’all, my friend and I are driving to Houston Sunday through Tuesday. She’s going to check out dental schools, I’m going to be moral support.
I am recovering from a broken femur and I’m on crutches-I can stand comfortably and get around in short bursts. I’m looking for recommendations for what’s cool to do during the day on a weekday that doesn’t require much continuous walking or physical strain.
I’m 23f, I like good food (don’t do meat though), music, esp live music, art, books, coffee, cocktails, vintage shopping, weird s**t, etc. Basically your typical born and raised Austinite. But also love dive bars and real s**t. I’m looking for whatever suggestions y’all have so I can have a memorable time in Houston. Anything like botanical gardens or art museums are probably out but if there are any cool areas to hit up patio bars or get good espresso I would love any pointers you’ve got.
Thanks so much in advance, see you soon! 🙂
