Thank you Astros

A couple of days ago I posted a little throwaway, crappy little drawing about the best moment of the Dodgers series this year. It got a lot more attention than I thought it would and I really appreciate everyone’s love for it. (Here’s a better version of it that I worked on shortly after if anyone wants it ) It destroyed my inbox on both Reddit and Twitter, from both likes and angry Dodgers fans.

A lot of other fans just can’t comprehend why we are still Astros fans. That’s how I know the Astros have the best, and most loyal fanbase in the league. The feelings I felt in 2017, and the feelings we collectively felt as a fanbase was out of this world, and no scandal or angry fan can take that away from us.

Thank you to the team, and a huge thank you to all of you guys.

EDIT: If any Dodgers fans are still lurking here, can’t speak for everyone but:

1) we are not proud of cheating, but we still support the Astros because they are OUR team. I really doubt you would really stop supporting your team if it happened to you.

2) so many Astros fans were apologetic when the news first broke. No one cared. You guys attacked us relentlessly even though we, as fans, had absolutely nothing to do with it. We are tired of it and most of us have no interest in apologizing when everyone is going to attack us anyway.
