Drove through “change made” lane on tollway?

I was on sam houston tollway this evening, i was gonna pay cash and went to the change made lane. There was no one at the booth and a car behind me was coming up and beeping at me, so i left. The car behind didn’t pay either. Do you guys know if I’ll get a bill? I have the ez tag sticker but thought I’d pay cash instead
