Why doesn’t Texas require employers to pay for lunch breaks?!

No wonder Texas workers are always tired and depressed after work. They have to stay an extra unpaid hr at work! Or take a smaller lunch or skip lunch just to get home earlier.

Why isn't this a bigger deal than it is?
