Houston -> Saint Charles, Iowa. Any places worth stopping by or getting?

Incoming: Copypasta Spam from a few different groups. Hopefully this is right for the group- didn't see any rules against it.

I'll be taking the scenic trip up to Saint Charles, Iowa. Any great or places to stop at in between here and there? I love corn and all but I figure there has to be something else in between here and there.

I might be making a detour through Witchita so if there are any recommendations in that direction those would be plenty welcome too!

Also, if anything ends up along the way I'd be happy to mule some back!

Also also, if anyone else is headed to Hinterland Music Festival which you should, the lineup is insane and is super fairly priced- I'm looking for some folks to carpool/share gas so let me know!
