Katy ISD STAAR results dip slightly from spring 2019 to spring 2021 in most subject areas

Statewide, the spring 2021 STAAR results show a 4% decline in the percentage of students reading at or above grade level from 2019 and a 15% decline in Texas students doing math at or above grade level, declines largely attributed to learning loss from the coronavirus pandemic.
