Pool Equipment Removal/Disconnect

I had the perfect plan to have my pool equipment (housed in our garage) removed today, have the floor redone tomorrow and pool equipment 'setup reworked' and hooked back up Friday.

Today my pool guy got in a wreck and no longer can come out to disconnect. I have to remove the pool equipment today myself now so the floors can still get done tomorrow.

I regularly take the filters out and clean those and am pretty familiar with all the equipment, just not sure if there's anything additional I should be considering?

Luckily it doesn't have to be too 'pretty' since they are going to rework the space anyway, but looking for some recommendations on how to do it!

I believe a hacksaw will work to cut the PVC pipe but I'm reading that possibly some type of oil might be needed to assist in the cutting?
