Thoughts about Jamey Rootes

Hello yall. I’m a Dynamo fan and the team has had a lot of news breaking today. Primarily, majority ownership is transferring to Ted Segal. But also buried a bit today is that Jamey Rootes will be taking a significant role with the organization. While the official title isn’t clear it does appear the current President of Business operations and team GM will report directly to Rootes. I’ve tried to look up a bit about Rootes recently and it seems like he was well respected. I’d like to hear your perspectives of if there is anything Dynamo fans should expect or look out for with Rootes having a significant role in the club. Mods if this is too off topic for the sub and gets taken down I understand.
