Question About Game tickets and tours

Hello everyone! I am thinking of going to my first game maybe in the middle of July (kinda depends on my schedule) and I have a couple of questions.

What is your favorite place to sit? I kinda like to 200 level but wanted to see peoples opinion. Should I sit on the first or third base side?
Where is the best place to buy tickets?
How are the tours? And has anyone taken a pregame tour?
