Houston Dynamo, Dash soccer teams to be sold to NY businessman, reports say

The Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash professional soccer teams are expected to be sold to a group led by New York businessman Ted Segal, according to media reports.

A letter of intent could be signed as soon as May 20, sources told the Houston Chronicle. The price likely could fall between $300 million and $500 million, per the Chronicle, and sources told Sportico, ESPN and The Athletic it’s expected to be around $400 million. The deal also includes the teams’ stake in BBVA Stadium, per the reports.
