Shipley Do-Nuts taps former chairman as CEO, Panera exec as COO
Longtime Houston-based chain Shipley Do-Nuts has named two new top executives a few months after it was acquired.
Clifton Rutledge, who formerly served as executive chairman at Shipley, has been named CEO. His more than three decades of restaurant leadership experience includes serving as COO at Birmingham, Alabama-based Jack’s Family Restaurants, president and CEO at Charlotte, North Carolina-based Bojangles Chicken and Biscuits, and COO at San Antonio-based Whataburger.
