Sugar land/Missouri City v. Inner Loop?

Currently living in central Houston (close to rice military/montrose) and sick of the three story cramped streets life, mid 30s, and thinking about moving to the burbs for more space. My job is wfh now and probably 50% to 100% wfh in the future. I’m mostly a homebody that loves animals. The suburbs that have caught my eye are Sugar Land and Missouri City due to proximity to job location (inner loop but near Galleria) and family (near Fresno). No kids, might have some in next five yrs.

Anyone have pros and cons to those areas living?
