Rob Saleh
If I am McNair I'm calling Rob's agent as we speak to ask him what it will take to make him the next HC of the Houston Texans. I did not realize this but Saleh was on the Texan's staff in the early 2000's when we had a solid defense and no offense. He has since become arguable the best young defensive coordinator in the game. The man is 40 and knows how to build a defense which starts in the the trenches which we have neglected since we have been a franchise. Yes we've had Watt and Clowney but that's two players. Zero depth and creativity on the defensive side of the ball. We keep blaming the secondary but if the opposing qb has all day to throw I don't care if you have Deon Sanders out there, the receivers are going to get open. I would also let Saleh build his own staff. Since he's such a defensive minded guy I have faith that he would bring in a young innovative mind at OC and let him do his own thing. This is probably just a pipe dream but heck I can dream.
