Deshaun Watson trade proposal

I do not think the relationship between Deshaun Watson and the Texans can be or will be repaired and it breaks my heart. I honestly think the best thing for both parties is a trade that gets Deshaun out of this poorly ran religious cult and sees the Texans get enough draft capital to start an actual rebuild. With that said I’m bored out of my mind and this was something for me to do to pass the time. Let me know how bad this trade is and how stupid I am in the comments.

Texans receive:

2021 #2 overall pick

2021 #23 overall pick

2022 2nd round pick

2022 4th round pick

2022 5th round pick

2023 1st round pick

Jets receive:

Deshaun Watson

2021 4th round pick

2022 5th round pick

Why the Texans do this:

The Texans get the 2nd overall pick in this years draft and with that they can draft their next franchise quarterback in Justin Fields or Zach Wilson. With the 23rd pick in the draft the Texans can draft BPA whether it’s Christian Barmore, Joseph Ossai, Kadarius Toney, Jaycee Horn, Alijah Vera Tucker or anyone else they prefer. They also get 3 picks in 2022 including the Jets 2nd round pick, and their 1st round pick in 2023.

Why the Jets do this:

The Jets get a 25 y/o top 5 quarterback, entering his prime, signed long term ( F**k you Cal, sell the team) and a 4th and 5th to offset the ones they gave up. The Jets will still have their 2021 2nd and 3rd and their 2022 1st to help build a contender around Deshaun.
