Spinal neurosurgeon recommendation

I have been dealing with back pain since June 2020, after many doctors visits, pain medicine, physical therapy and an MRI later I was told I would need surgery due to compression of the nerve in the L5 region. As I’m sure most would agree, spinal surgery is of a more delicate nature especially when it is involving nerve compression or at least that’s my understanding. If anyone has had a similar surgery or knows of a neurosurgeon they would recommend, please let me know.
