Any comfort soon

As the title says when are we going to be getting power. I’m also without water in my area. Their needs to be some changes somewhere to keep this from happening again. Why is Texas the only state that has to ration power? I know we are on our own grid separately from the other states but what fucking sense does that make in our day and age. We have no need to separate from the national grid. If people are so worried about getting stiffed from the government why not just install some sort of power switch so that when s**t hits the fan we can get power from other grids. Instead of making all of us suffer.
