Good place to meet successful attractive singles in Houston naturally during a pandemic? I’m (22F) really sick of all the jerks on dating apps who just wanna waste my time on a date just in hopes of trying to take me home after.

Title pretty much says it all, I don’t want to see the best years of my life go by and not meet someone to have a meaningful relationship with that will hopefully lead to marriage.

I’ve pretty much given up on online dating because I’ve met so many people who constantly are lying about their intentions in order for you to look in their direction. There’s everything from men who straight up hate women, men who lie about who they even are, and even married men pretending to be single on online dating apps. Im on the verge of just adopting some cats and giving up.

I miss meeting people naturally, I feel like people who meet you in person first are so much more respectful and nice. Maybe because online dating is such a cesspool, I don’t really know but if anyone has any tips on how to meet genuine people in person during this weird time I would love to know.
