Anyone have a pit terrier and want to do a dog playdate?

I have a pit terrier male mix named Tobey….yes Tobey Maguire Alvarez😂. He's hyper. When I found him, he's been trained somewhat. Want to find him another dog his size to play with. I have a shihtzu but he's older. He's not aggressive but on the leash around other dogs or kids he'll get excited and start high pitch whining. Kinda want to break that habit with him too. Not sure how he'll do at a dog park but I usually take him to a park on weekdays when there's no one around.
