Homeowners – If you have had recent foundation repairs done, what is your experience and how much did you pay?

With the drier weather over the last couple of summers, and now fall, my foundation (slab) is in need of repairs. If you have had yours repaired, what was done?

Any recommended contractors in the area?

How much did they charge (how many piers, and did they have to do any other work)?
