Got a cat who is getting older. Are there any ways for her to socialize?

We found her abandoned and think it was because she is high maintenance (has diabetes). She’s now become fairly old (not sure how long I’ll have with her) and would be nice if she could socialize a bit with some cats. I would adopt another one but I hardly have the time even for her.

Is there any place/way to do this?
