Houston management companies partnering with Airbnb
I JUST renewed my lease last week and then yesterday I received an email from the management company saying they are becoming "Airbnb friendly." They already offer short-term corporate housing and we've had recent issues with car break-ins inside the parking garage.
In what possible scenario does this benefit a responsible renter? This is rhetorical because I understand there are (rare) scenarios when people travel for extended periods or need to break a lease early, but I don't believe that's super common. Residential neighborhoods across Houston are fighting to keep this sort of partnership OUT due to increased crime, drugs, noise, trash, and all other sorts of issues.
Anyone else have experience, stories, or advice to share??
