Labor Day is finally here. The Weeknd will be here Saturday and Sunday, but if you’re looking for something a bit off the beaten path:

1. Black Flag – Yes, that Black Flag. Scout Bar will be hosting the legendary hardcore punk band Saturday evening.
2. Bomba Estereo + Rawayana – one band from Colombia, the other from Venezuela, bringing the sound of the Caribbean to White Oak Saturday evening.
3. Starcrawler – at SXSW this rock band once “terrorized the crowd by spitting blood in the face of a photographer, hurling attendees' personal possessions into the crowd, and firing a snot rocket into the face of another audience member.” If this is your idea of a good time (music is great too), they’ll be at White Oak Saturday as well.
