Houston Trip Tips

I wanted to travel to Houston this weekend. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for places to visit. I was also curious to know what the covid restrictions are. Are indoor dining restaurants and bars open? Also are shooting ranges open? I live in California and that's one of the main reasons I want to visit lol. Thanks for the advice!
