Collididing outflow boundaries along the sea breeze convergence zone brings heavy rain to South Houston

Just west of Hobby Airport received a radar estimated 3.78" of rain in 2 hrs. A swath of >2" of rain fell along and north of the beltway from west of 288 eastward towards La Porte.
